Jinger Duggar is overjoyed for sister Jana Duggar to be expecting her first baby with husband Stephen Wissmann.
“So stoked for my sis @janamduggar & @stephenwissmann!!!” Jinger, 31, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 18. “Can’t wait to meet this precious little one and to be the fave auntie ha.”
Jana, 35, and Wissmann revealed on Monday that they are expanding their family, alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple sharing a sweet smooch. In another image, the pair each placed a hand on Jana’s stomach as Wissmann kissed her head.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!” the caption read, while Jill Duggar gushed in the comments section, “So excited for y’all!

Jana and Wissmann first crossed paths in 2011, dating on and off for years before reconnecting in 2024.
“It was like, ‘What are we doing? We still enjoy each other. We still really appreciate each other,’” Jana told People in August 2024. “I had been a slower mover on it, but just over time, his character, his coming back, still loving me no matter what. I know we have a big crazy family and still kind of putting up with a lot of things. I’m like, my goodness, there are not too many people that do that. He must really, genuinely care about me.”
Jana and Wissmann quietly got engaged in June 2024 before tying the knot in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, two months later in front of nearly 500 guests. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August.
“Just celebrated one year of marriage with my favorite person, and it has been the best year!” Jana wrote via Instagram on Saturday, August 16. “I look forward to many more years together!”

While commemorating the milestone, Jana and Wissmann headed to Engine House Cafe before shopping for deals at the local TJ Maxx and topping off the day with a steakhouse dinner and ice cream.
“Love this journey with My Love!” she wrote via Instagram. “Here’s to many more years to come!!”
Wissmann, for his part, also paid tribute to his wife on their special day. “I know this is a day late, but yesterday I was SO blessed to have celebrated one year of life and marriage with my best friend!” Stephen wrote via Instagram on Saturday. “Thru the ups and downs, life with you only keeps getting better and better! Love you more than ever @janamduggar!!!!!”
